The 糖心Vlog supports outreach and implementation for the University of Notre Dame's many study abroad opportunities in Italy. It also provides opportunities for graduate exchange and research for graduate students in Italian.
Undergraduate Study Abroad Programs
The Rome International Scholars Program
allows students to take a core course taught through the Notre Dame Rome Global Gateway (RGG), study at a local university, and pursue their own research interests. This program provides students with funding for a disciplinary study and/or internship in Italy during the summer following the completion of the spring semester in Rome. This summer funding is considered part of the spring semester. The curriculum for the Rome International Scholars program consists of five 3-credit courses.
The Bologna Program
Notre Dame is an Associate Member of the Bologna Consortial Studies Program (BCSP) which offers the unique opportunity for undergraduate students to spend a full-year, full-immersion study in.
The Rome Undergraduate Program
In collaboration with John Cabot University. Provides Notre Dame sophomores and junior students with an opportunity to study in Rome for either one semester or the academic year. The is particularly suited to students in Art Studio, Art History, Classics, History, Italian, European Studies or Business.
Rome: The Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies
The provides students with an opportunity in Rome to study ancient history and archaeology, Latin and Greek language and literature, and art history. 听The Center is located on one of the main streets of the Janiculum in the heart of Rome. Applicants must be at least sophomores majoring in classics, classical history or archaeology, or must be art history majors with a strong classical background.
The Rome Summer Program
This at Notre Dame鈥檚 Rome Global Gateway takes students on a journey through the city鈥檚 storied landscape while introducing them to contemporary Italian culture. Students will choose听2 courses from the 4 courses on offer, one in each half of the day.
The Rome AME Program
The is in cooperation with La Sapienza University of Rome. In order to stay on track to complete the ND Engineering degree in eight semesters, students take three mechanical engineering courses, their second theology course, and a special course on Rome.

Graduate Exchange Program with the University of Cambridge
The Graduate Exchange Program provides the opportunity for graduate students in Italian to forge international ties with prominent scholars in their fields. Each year, one Ph.D. student from Notre Dame and one from the University of Cambridge exchange places for a semester. This program is directed by Prof. Zygmunt G. Bara艅ski.
